Children had to sort smarties into colours and draw graphs to show their results. Children in Class 1 did some finger painting to show how many of each coloured smartie they had. Andy loved helping them with this.
Measuring the length of the corridor with multi link cubes was a very popular activity!
He had great fun weighing various different ingredients. Some children worked out how much all the items weighed in total!
Andy enjoyed playing chess with the children during the day.

Pulham Primary School Maths Day!

On Tuesday 19th May we had our first maths day at Pulham School. Children were divided into their four house groups and did 4 different activities involving measure, shape and art, games and investigations and data handling. Andy also joined in with the activities and enjoyed using different maths skills to do them. We all had a fantastic day!

Easter Cards

We received some lovely Easter cards from around Europe. The children really enjoyed looking at them. Thank you very much to all the other teachers and children for making them and sending them to us. Here are some of Class 3 holding some of the cards we got.

Andy at the swimming pool

Andy had a great time at the swimming pool with Class 3 this week. We think he enjoyed it as much as Carlos did when he came! He said he was very impressed with how well all of Class 3 swam and thought they all did very well to jump in!

Easter Across Europe

Unfortunately, we have now stopped for the Easter holiday and we did not receive the teddy from Italy in time for the pupils to allow him to celebrate Easter in Scotland, so I have posted some photos of Mid Calder Primary and other European schools which we partner to show some Easter activities.
